Why the same Jesus (as) won't return!

I’ll first explain a few basic points and then turn to refuting the few ‘excuses’ presented by the non-Ahmadi clergy.

1.
The Quran and Sunnah have proved the death of Jesus and about the dead, the Quran says:

039:042 Shakir
"Allah takes the souls at the time of their death, and those that die not during their sleep; then He withholds those on whom He has passed the decree of death and sends the others back till an appointed term; most surely there are signs in this for a people who reflect.”

For the death of Jesus, see various threads in THIS community and also visit: http://www.alislam.org/topics/jesus/

2.
If the same Jesus comes as the Reformer for the Ummah of Muhammad or the whole world, the following verse of the Holy book of God would stand abrogated.

003:049 Pickthal
"And will make him a messenger unto the Children of Israel, (saying): Lo! I come unto you with a sign from your Lord.”

Would the non-Ahmdi muslims who stick to their paradigms try to correct the ‘Quranic error’ (God forbid) in this case. A non-Ahmadi, Adeel tried to escape this truth by saying, “he would be send ONLY to the Israelites”. Indeed, confusion is their lot!

Since the Quran is a complete code till the Day of Judgment, the Mosaic Messiah cannot ‘descend’ in the same body for the non-Israelites at least till then.

3.
The Holy Quran has described the “Ummah of Muhammad” as “the best people ever raised up for mankind”.

003:110 Yusufali
"Ye are the best of peoples, evolved for mankind, enjoining what is right, forbidding what is wrong, and believing in Allah.” If only the People of the Book had faith, it were best for them: among them are some who have faith, but most of them are perverted transgressors.”

We know that Jesus (as) was granted the status of prophet within the Mosaic Law. If following Moses (as) could produce a Messiah of his caliber, what makes us believe that following Muhammad (pbuh) cannot produce a person even close to his status, after all Muhammad’s (pbuh) Ummah is the “best ever raised”.

Was Muhammad’s (pbuh) spirituality not as powerful as that of Moses (as). Was there a deficiency in the training of Muhammad (pbuh) that wasn’t found in that of Moses (as). It is strange that when the “best people” were in dire need of revival and renaissance, they had to depend on a prophet of the Bani Israel, God forbid. This is food for thought for those who reflect, and those who are not ready to give up the Quran for mere paradigm!

4.
The appearance of the first Messiah (Jesus(as)) and that of the coming Messiah have been described in traditions as two persons apart. The Holy Prophet (pbuh) says:

“Jesus had a red complexion, curly hair and a broad chest” [Bukhari]

The Holy Prophet (pbuh) describes the Promised Messiah in the following words:

“handsome man of wheatish complexion, having straight hairs that reach the shoulders. He will be of average height” [Bukhari and Musnad Ahmad]

Thus, the two ‘Messiahs’ are not the same but distinct personalities. It is wise to change one’s paradigm when it is found to have no foundation from the Quran and Sunnah. However it has been the habit of the opponents of the truth that ego plays a major role in their rejection!
